Dr Susie Davies is a passionate advocate for adolescent mental health and the founder of PAPAYA (Parents Against Phone Addiction in Young Adolescents). As a mother of two teenage daughters and a twelve-year-old son, she is dedicated to helping families navigate the challenges of technology in today’s world. More recently, she has become an active member of the Smartphone Free Childhood movement that has swept the nation, offering talks and training to parents.

Dr Davies designs and delivers PAPAYA workshops in schools that empower young people to build self-esteem and find a healthy balance with technology. Her hands-on experience as a GP and presenter, along with her commitment to listening to students and parents, has informed this book, which shares her wealth of knowledge and resources on well-being.
